Pony Overhaul: Females Release by Poninnahka Pony Overhaul: Females Release by Poninnahka
First off, huge thanks for :iconata64: for the release picture.

Now, needless to say that this pack took quite a while to make. I think I started over nine months ago and started working on it actively maybe six months ago. Now, after all the teasing, mental breakdowns and butthurt, I can pretty safely call it done.

So, for those who don't know what's so special here: Basically this is the V1 pony models with several improvements for posing and animating abilities and show accuracy. There are also plenty of new characters that were basically made from scratch. The pack includes (the pack where the model can be found is inside the brackets) :
- Aloe Blossom (background 2)
- Applejack (mane6)
- Berry Punch (background 2)
- Bon Bon (background 1)
- Carrot Top (background 2)
- Cheerilee (background 2)
- Cloudchaser (background 1)
- Derpy Hooves (mane6)
- Flitter (background 1)
- Fluttershy (mane6)
- Future Twilight (background 1)
- Lighting Dust (background 1)
- Lotus Blossom (background 2)
- Lyra (background 1)
- Nurse Redheart (background 2)
- Octavia (background 2)
- Pinkamena (background 1)
- Pinkie Pie (mane6)
- Rainbow Dash (mane6)
- Rarity (mane6)
- Spitfire (background 1)
- Twilight alicorn (background 1)
- Twilight Sparkle (mane6)
- Trixie (background 2)
- Vinyl Scratch (background 2)
Full info here:…
Warning: The jigglebones have a tendency to freak out by sudden movements, nothing I can do about it without removing the jiggles since the bug is in the engine. I suggest avoiding really sudden movements in your animations, or moving the jiggles manually if you need to make fast animations.

Official testing team:

Might have missed something, will fix in that case. More links will come once I get them up.

EDIT: Ok, Workshopper is giving me the finger, so I can't get everything uploaded today. Rest of the links should follow tomorrow.

EDIT2: the rest of the links are now up, Workshop didn't want to work correctly so Astrix had to upload a couple of packs. Also updated the pic with ata64's newer one.

are you gonna put these ponies into SFM workshop?
Poninnahka 15 hours ago  Hobbyist Digital Artist
I'm not going to do that, since apparently it requires me to compile them directly for SFM. However I hear that someone else has been working on putting the models on the workshop.
Does the shaders mod works for Gmod too?  Or is it just for SFM?
Poninnahka 1 day ago  Hobbyist Digital Artist
It will work in Gmod as well, at least it works for me.
Sweet!  Thanks for telling me!

No worries.
Would it be at all possable you can email these to me so i can install them that way? sorry i'm new to the SFM program and how to install the models but i have a Pony on Secondlife and the video's all looked cool so thought i'd try to do my own pony form, lol

No, can't do that. The files are way too big to fit into an email so I would have to send you links, and what's the point in that since the links are in the description. I suggest you read the description and install the models as described in the installation instructions.

Oh and if you want your own pony in SFM, this isn't the way of doing it, you'd have to compile a new pony model using the parts and instructions found here:…
Plus SFM is not even near Second life, it's an animation tool, not a game. I'm not saying you shouldn't even try using it, I'm just saying that you'll have quite a bit of learning to do if you decide to give it a go.

It's just awesome, thank you so much! All you made a great job! ^^

Having one little question: is there a way to remove Applejack's hat and scarf? Just wanted to create a scene where she takes her hat off.

For Gmod you need an addon called bodygroup changer or something like that, which works just like any other regular tool, or you can right click the model while using the mini menu and you should see an option for the bodygroups. I have no idea about SFM since I don't use it, so look for tutorials here in :iconsfm-ponies:
